One-a-Day Scrap Quilts #3 - "A Day at the Circus"

I bought a bag of scrap fabrics for $5 to make this little quilt. The center section (green circles, pink and light pink) was sewn into one piece, then cut into 3 pieces and sewn back together differently to alternate the side colors. The rest was adding on curved pieces of fabric as they spoke to me, mostly in contrasting colors or shades. I like geometric shapes and have used a number of fabrics with circles, squares, and stripes.
With this quilt, I put fabrics scraps together that I thought would complement one another. When it was finished, it reminded me of the rings at a circus, of bubbles, the stripes on costumes and cotton candy. Hence, "A Day at the Circus".
