This was my first look at Banff, from the window of our hotel early this morning.  We arrived late last night in the dark and cold so opening the curtains was dazzling.

In case you're wondering, I travel sometimes with my husband, Frank, who is a doctor. He is involved in at least 8000 groups all over the place, is asked to speak at another 8000 places and in his spare time, runs a department of Family Medicine in Denver. This fall, I decided to go on a lot of trips with him because if I didn't, I would forget what he looks like. Plus, these are all cool places. I'm not getting a lot of art created, but I AM inspired.

We're on the 14th floor of our building. As I left to take a walk, I took this picture, looking down the steps. Neat huh?!

Here are some views on my walk. It snowed most of the day so the pictures are greyish but still beautiful.

I walked for hours and my mouth is numb from the cold. 

I turned a corner and look who I saw just a few feet from me!
